There is a growing number of people who think that living in bigger cities brings more advantages/positive outcomes/merits/perks as opposed to living in rural areas. This essay agrees with the given statement/notion/idea/opinion/argument and in the following paragraphs, I will elaborate on my reasons.

First and foremost, easier access to quality public facilities has become a major factor in people’s preference to reside in bigger cities rather than in rural areas. Vital public services such as healthcare centers, educational institutions, public transport, and even art galleries are widely available in cities. The existence of these facilities is highly pivotal to supporting people’s day to day routines and maintaining a good quality of life. Hence, many people will still opt for cities over countryside areas.

Apart from that, the possibility of having more opportunities to develop oneself professionally and academically is another appealing feature of big city life. With supportive public infrastructure as described in the previous paragraph, people living in cities are provided with more choices, particularly the ones related to education and career. People can continue their studies in majors and universities that suit their needs and passion. Moreover, professional networking is also more diverse, leading them to wider doors of professional opportunities and collaboration.

To conclude, I am of the opinion who thinks that living a city life is way more beneficial because living in a bigger city means living within the convenience of public service availability and has more potential to take one to more opportunities
